Full House

As I approached the Cullen House the stink of vampire it my nose. It was very strong. They where all there now and the smell stung my nose. There was a unfamiliar scent, not Anna but another vampire. I smelt it ever so briefly before I ran into the woods after my fight with Anna. Anger swelled as I remembered how easily she has pinned me. I need to calm down. I went to the side of the house where a pile of clothes was kept for me, for those moments when I did not have time to get out of my clothes.

I quickly slipped on some jeans and a shirt, I padded round to the front and opened the door. I knew they would already know I was coming but I shouted "hello" anyway...

"Daddy is playing at statues, i want to play with you. Where has everone gone? I want jacob to play aswell". Renesmee splashed her mohter and nanna with warm sopay water as they sat on the stools. She grinned at them.

Bella heard Jacob call out. She glanced at Esme and Renesmee (who was looking like she was going to explode with excitment) and called out. "We're in the kicthen Jake, come on up"

She hoped that he was welcome in the house now, after his spat with Anna. But he was still really part of their family.

Jacob was pleased to hear Bella's voice. It sounded happy to hear him perhaps she wasn't to cross with him for picking a fight with Anna. Jacob was thoroughly embarrassed and cross, and needed answers. The smell of Nessie and Esme filled his nose, his Nessie was home. "Coming, who is afraid of the big bad wolf??"

"not me! not me!!!!" nesie creid out from the kicthen. Jumping off te stool and towards jacobs voice. "Jacob!!! she cried running into Jacobs outstretched arms

Bella smiled at her best friend as he entered. "Not many apparently... From what I heard, Anna set you running back into the woods with your tail between your legs." she teased before looking at him carefully "You're ok right?"

She grinned at Nessie and then glanced up at Jacob once again before motioning for him not to say too much in front of small ears

Jacob scooped up Nessie into his big arms, smiling. "How is my little Nessie" he said with a big grin on his face. It still took him by surprise at times by how strongly he felt for this little girl, all his anger about Anna melted away. "I'm fine Bella, was just letting the kitty cat win" and tussled Nessie hair with a smile.

Nessie touched her hand to Jacobs face showing ihm he images she had seen of his and Annas fight. It had not lasted very long.
Nessie then pulled on Jacobs arm "Jake, im hungry"

As the images that Nessie flashed before his eyes Jacob felt embarrassed and cross, not with Anna or anyone else but at himself for acting like such a brute. He could sense that Nessie liked Anna and that perhaps he thought the link he felt towards Anna was more to do with her than with himself as he had first thought??

Jacob turned to Esme and Bella still cradling Nessie, "Bella, do you have any food in. I am starving too?"

"I want icecream!" nessie shouted excitedly. Jacob always bought her sweet things and they made her very excited. She leapt out of Jacobs arms and made a beeline for the freezer. Opening it she could tell it was empty. A frosty steam came out of it and thta always meant there was very little in there, if anything at all. "Humph2 she cried disappointedly.

Carlisle entered the kitchen wearily, how had he got it so wrong? Why had he lost control like that and berated Anna? Him shouting at her was hardly going to make her change her mind and come home.

He was torn between wanting to be alone and wanting to be laying in Esme's arms, she always made him feel better.

"I'm sorry, love." He said as he held up her ruined clothes, with a small frown playing at his lips. He stepped closer to her, pulling her into his arms, her head tucked against his chest as he breathed in her scent, already feeling a little better.

Jacob cleared his throat, seeing vampires so intimate still made him feel a bit uneasy.

Esme looked at the clothes and looked at Carlisle before embracing him gently."What happened my love?" she asked, kissing him gently on the cheek.

She looked at Jacob and smiled, choosing to ignore the throat clearing. Her mate needed her.

Bella looked concerned as she looked between Carlisle and Esme.

"Anna?" she asked.

"She's gone." He replied, hanging his head and pulling her close.

He wanted to take her up to his study, right now, just the two of them.

Esme looked confused.

"Gone... You mean she didn't want.... She didn't want to stay here?... Oh darling...." she whispered to her love before pulling him closer again.

She felt as though he were in so much pain.

"Come with me" she whispered. We can talk about this" Esme tugged him by the hand and lead him towards the stairs.

"Excuse us" she said to Jacob, Bella and Renesmee before leaving them.

Nessie started crying uncontrollably "Anna kitty is gone!!!!!! Did she not like me?" She burried her face in her mothers shoulder confused as to what she could have done wrong to make anna leave.

Carlisle held onto her hand as she led him up the stairs.

"I sort of tried to talk her round, but she's being a martyr, she thinks she's doing what's best for us."

He wondered if she knew about the connection between Anna and Jasper, then realised she probably didn't.

Jacob suddenly felt guilty and hoped that nothing he had done had pushed to do this.

In a very soothing voice he crooned to Nessie, " I am sure the kitty likes you. I think she just needs a bit of time alone" At least that was what he hoped, he hated seeing Nessie this upset.

Esme pulled him into the study and pushed him lightly down into his large leather chair. She purched on his lap and help him close again.

"She honestly thinks that? Oh my goodness... Thats terrible. She is nothing BUT welcome here. Oh, dear, I hope that she is okay"

Esme was genuinelly upset and worried about the girl.

Eva had gone to sit on the step in front of the house again, wanting to get away from all the conflict of which she was not part. She'd tried to help Jasper some, and she was confident that he could work things out with Alice and that he and Carlisle at least liked her well enough. The others though....
Bella no me gusta, she thought, quite certain of that. Y Rosalie...no tiene confianza en mí.
Still, she couldn't let that make her leave just yet. She had to stay and see what happened with Jasper first. She owed him that much.
Inhaling deeply, she rose to her feet and walked back into the house to see what was going on. The werewolf was back too, and she wanted to make sure that he didn't have any issues with Anna or with her presence here. The werewolf was in the kitchen, she determined, so that was where she was going to go.

(Bella doesn't like me, and Rosalie doesn't trust me.)

She walked into the kitchen to see the werewolf, looking surprisingly relaxed wih the baby.
Unreal, she thought, her eyes widening in shock. This...this just didn't seem anything like the werewolf that she'd seen yesterday, fighting so brutally with Anna.
"So, are you done with attacking girls?" she asked before she could stop herself.

Nessie nuzzled at her mothers while ehr arm rested on jacobs face. "is she going to come back?"
Suddenly a strange lady came into the kitchen and started being nasty to Jacob "i dont like you, you are mean" she said to te stranger lady.

"No offense meant, niña, but he was being pretty nasty to someone yesterday too," Eva said, wincing slightly. "Being a strange vampire, I'm a bit afraid that he might attack me too." I didn't add that he'd almost attacked me yesterday when I'd gotten caught in the middle of the fight without trying.

Jacob looked up at the newcomer. This must be the vampire who had crossed his path briefly yesterday. Jacob glared at her but said noting as Nessie has enough to worry about with Anna and he did not want to do anything more to upset her. Jacob turned to Nessie and smiled, "Don't worry Nessie as long as you like me I don't mind" and he gave her little kiss on the check while never taking his off this knew unknown vampire. The Cullens where to trusting, he would was not.
