Anna ran as fast as her feet could cary her back up the hill to what was supposed to be her new home. Ignoring the wreckage that was their wedding day tent.
She took the key and slowly opened the large glass door to enter the house. Breathing in the fresh smell of wood that surrounded her. She took her time wandering round, imagining her and Jacob cooking in the kitchen, playing with the children they would never have, making love in their bedroom.
She came back the the living room before noticing something in the corner that she had never seen before.
I picture frame with a picture of her and JAcob on their wedding day that she had never noticed beofre on the shelf above the guitar that she had used to sing her vows. Jaspers guitar. He muct have put it there sometime after the wedding. She touched the picture gently with one finger. Jacob had looked so in love, how had that all changed so suddenly?
She picked up the guitar and went to sit on the corner sofa on the other side of the room, curling her legs under her and resting the guitar on her knees. She began to play and before she knew it she was singing.
The same song she had sung on her wedding day, her voice shaky with the emotions that were running through her.

Jacob walked back to the Cullens. It was more of hike really but he thought the extra time might help him to think. To find some answers. He was wrong.

He approached the house from the North it wasn't his usual route but it was the easiest way back from the cove. A huge house loomed out the forest at him. He stopped and starred. Jacob realised what it was, he had not been here but he knew.... it was there house. Jacob and Anna's........ it was suppose to be.

Jacob wanted to take a closer look. When he got closer he heard singing. Sitting by open patio doors was Anna.

He froze.

Anna was so deep in her emtions she hadnt realisede JAcob was outside the house.
She put the guitar down and went to pick up the photo and went to stand by the doors in the sunlight, making her skin sparkle. She had nevr seen herslef like that before. It was beautiful...like diamonds embedded beneath ehr skin.
She stroked the picture, a single tear falling down her cheek. She tunred her back to the window and leant against it sliding down the glass so she was sitting on the wooden floor.
The piscture was facing her, facing out the window.

Jacob watched her, her voice was beautiful and the song, he shivered, it was there song.

When she stopped singing he turned to leave, he shouldn't be here. Then she started to cry, he looked back and saw her slumped on the floor. A photo at her feet, it was of them on there wedding day.

"Anna....'" he needed her to be all right.

anna caught a sudden scent that she had not noticed beofre, it was his, it was puppy's. He wasnt in the hosue, it wasnt coming from there.
She turned round suddenly hearing her name caught on the breeze.
He was standing outside the house watching her.
She pulled the patio door back open, his scent came flowing into the house.
She wiped her tears.

Mackenzie left Freddy at the house, he wanted to check on Cameron and she was hungry. She raced off into the woods as soon as they had said goodbye,going further in so she could truly be alone.

This was her first hunt alone and she was a little nervous.

What's to be scared of? She thought. And then she smelt it, her mind told her it was Jacob, Anna's Jacob, but her senses told her it was food, and so she attacked, pouncing at him from behind the bushes, her animal instinct taking over leaving Mackenzie with no control over herself. Frenzied.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion. Like in the movies.
Mackenzie flew out from behind the bushes, her eyes glazed over, Anna had seen that look before, in crazed shapehisfters. Anna knew what was going to happen before it happened.
She didnt even feel herself move but before she knew it she had pushed jacob into the hsoue and closed th door on him, knowing the vampires venom would kill him if she got close enough to bite.
Mackenzie had no control over herslef anymore, she felw at Anna in a rage and Anna knew there was no hope left for the poor girl, she needed to make this quick for her before she could get to JAcob and kill him. As the girl pounced Anna crouched and phased in one easy move and flew over MAckenzie beofre spinning round and ripping her head off and throwing it she then tore into the rest of her, and she could swera she heard screams coming form her body as her metallic steel teeth ripped into the rock hard vampire skin and bones. Within seconds there was nothing but a pile of mutilated flesh and bones. Anna pahsed back and ran and grabbed a lighter from in the kitchen before setting the pile alight.

Anna then went into a state of shock. She had hoped never to have to kill anyone again but there was no way she was going to lose another man she loved, not again.
She ran back to the hosue, and into the living room where jacob was standing stunned.
She ran up to him, chekcing his body over for bites or scratches

"she didnt hurt you did she, she didnt bite you? Did i hurt you? Please tell me i didnt hurt you sweety!"

What happened next went by in a blur. He was so busy looking and concentrating Anna that he hadn't caught the scent until it was almost upon him. It was only Mac, it was ok. He was knocked to the ground, his breath lost. Anna threw him into the kitchen, the wind being knocked of him again.

By the time he got up and ran to the door, Anna was standing over a fire.

She rushed to him. Worrying. Her hands skimming over his body, he trembled.

"I am fine. Anna stop it, there isn't anything wrong with me."

Anna couldnt stop shaking. "She was going to kill you puppy, are you sure she didnt bite you? The look in her eyes, it was terryfing, i thought you were going to, i though, oh god. I can't lose you!" She started crying again.

"Anna, don't cry I am fine. She didn't so much as scratch me, I had the wind knocked out of me that's all."

He looked at rising smoke.

"I wonder what got into her?? I suppose being a newborn with the smell of human blood when hungry was to much for her...."

He smiled at Anna. "Thank you."

Anna smiled up at JAcob and she wiped the tears with the back of her hand. "Are you sure, i did push you pretty hard. Im surprised i didnt knock the house down." she giggled a light tinkling giggle,

He smiled, "No I am just fine and the house is fine." he looked at it and nodded, whispering. "It looks like a lovely home."

He sighed, "I better go."

Anna didnt want Jacob to go, "Please dont go, let me show you around the place really is beautiful."She put her hand on his arm, feeling the familar warmth rising from him. Comforting and close.

Jacob hesitated, it didn't sound like a good idea but it was the least he could do, wasn't it??

He didn't know what to do the dreams still haunted him, so real to him.
"Ok, a quick look round.."

Anna smiled happily and took Jacobs large hand in hers
"well this is obviously the living room, im pretty sure everything in here is hand made, the kitchen is over there at the back, the fridge is huuuuuuuuge, you could fit a whole dear in there. and...." she pulled him to the other side "in there is a very large family bathroom and up here," she pulled him up the spiral staricase. "there are three bedrooms, 2 small and one master. The master bedroom is stunning, come and look." She pulled him in standing in fornt of the window where you could see over the tops of all the trees and down to the river. She sat down on the large bed. "its beautiful isnt it?"

Jacob allowed himself to be led round the house. It was a stunning house, Esme had done a wonderful job. It was tastefully decorated with a nice mixture of soft and manly. The views where amazing.

From the master bedroom he could see out over the tree tops it was breath taking.

"Yes it is" he stood at the glass, putting a hand on it. Starring at Anna's reflection. "Too beautiful for words" stroking.

Anna smiled as Jacob looked out over the view that Anna herself found so breathtaking. She let him stand there for a minute taking it all in. She had burnt her hand slightly on the fire and it had caught one of scars and was starting to itch as it healed so she moved a hand to stroke it, trying to sooth it with her cool skin.
She stood up and moved foward standing close to jacob, brushing his arm with hers as stood on tip toes to open the window and let some air in, suddenly tripping and landing in jacobs arms.
"oh sory" she apologised, moving her hair out of her face.

Jacob stood and looked out over the trees.

He saw Anna get up and come to the window, she opened it letting in a breath of fresh air. She stumbled, he held out his arms to catch her.

"Be careful, you wouldn't want you hurting yourself now do we." He gently placed her on her feet, putting a stray hair behind her ear. "For someone who is immortal you are fragile..."

His heart pounded.

Anna felt her skin tingle where JAcob touched her, it was like the first time they had ever touched all over again. The electricity sparks flying through her. Could he feel it to. "at least you were there to catch my fall" She looked up into his eyes, her own burning with a fiery need.

Anna's piercing eyes looked up at him. His hand lingered and he gently touched it along her cheek and put it back by his side.

"Nothing will ever change that."

Ana looked down at the hand that had been gently stroking her cheek and moved her hand to intertwine with it. then moved both of their hands up as she put her lips gently against his fingers, kissing them ever so softly. "Are you sure?" she whispered. She didnt want to get hurt again.

Jacob tilted his head down, wrapping his arm round Anna and pulling her to him, lifting her slightly off the ground, as his lips came down on hers. His mouth soft and shiverd at the touch of her.

He hoped that was answer enough

Anna melted into JAcobs arms. It was like a feeling that she had neevr experienced with ihm befoer, they had had passion but never this intense complete pure feeling of love above everything else. It didnt matter to her that he had not verbally answered her. Him taking ehr into his arms was enough.
His lips on hers making a tear of absolute joy fall down her cheek. She was home again.
She wrapped her arms gently around his neck as she kissed him softly back.

Alice reached into her pocket, grasping the ring as she approached the house with Jasper. She smiled at Anna and Jacob inside, and untangled herself from Jasper for a moment, running inside in a blur, leaving the ring on a table not far from them before joining Jasper.

She looked at him and smiled. "Bed shopping?" she murmured.

Jacob pulled her closer as she responded to his kiss. He gently opened her mouth with his tongue. Softly stoking her satin tongue. His hands caressing the hollow of her back. He trembled....

He has missed her so much, her touch and he was whole again, he was home
