The Escape

She nodded, knowing he'd only hunted with Anna earlier, but with the scent of the humans, she wanted to make sure. She stepped closer to him and brushed her lips against his, kissing him back in return. She looked to Mackenzie as she spoke, and held her breath. But at her simple thanks, Alice smile, "You're welcome," she said.

"You're welcome," Eva said, smiling encouragingly at Mackenzie. "Do you want anymore?"

Roman chuckled and nodded to Eva. "Yes, I am fine, no need to worry," he smiled. "That's just my work out for the day," he joked.

jasper nodded at the girl, glad to see she had calmed down and that the blood had helped ease her mood.

the scent of human had faded, jasper relaxed

Eva chuckled and looked him over once.
"I don't think that you need to worry too much about working out, Roman," she said.

She shook her head. "Thank you, but no thank you." The slight burning of her throat was a constant reminder for her, telling her that she was no longer human, that she could never go home.

"Then do you want to go back to the house so that we can talk and try to help you some more?" Eva asked.

She looked around at them all one by one and slowly nodded her head. "Yes please." She was beginning to trust them, if they had wanted to hurt her they could have done by now. She considered that they may still send her back, but put that out of her mind straight away.

She hoped that she would be safe with them and if anyone were on her trail, the last place they would look would be someone's house.

Jasper came forward adn took her by the hand.

"lets go home"

Holding her hand and alices they speed though the woods with eva and roman not far behind and back to the cullens
