Looking for the Vampire Empty
PostSubject: Looking for the Vampire   Looking for the Vampire EmptyTue Feb 16, 2010 8:49 pm

The vampire was still far back in the woods, and Eva made sure to move toward him fast. She could smell Alice, Anna, and Jasper hunting in the woods, and she wanted to head this vampire off and distract him from them until she was sure that he was good.
For a second, his scent got lost in the thick of the trees, and Eva stopped, sniffing the air again. He was going west, probably heading toward the house. It was only then that it occurred to Eva that this might be Roman, but still, she wasn't certain, so she decided to keep tailing him just in case. Besides, what harm would there be in meeting him out here?

Roman was making his way down the path he had frequented over the years. He didn't visit the Cullens often, but knew it well. He had originally come after his vision of the woman with white hair, and Alice's phone call. But on his journey, he'd had another vision. This time, however, he'd seen a dark haired beauty. Needless to say, he was very confused. He could no longer see Anna, and he wasn't sure why.

As he mde his way through the woods, he caught a scent. It wasn't any of the Cullens - that was for sure. Was it Anna? He had decided it probably was - until another vision drove into his head. He could see the dark haired beauty, Eva, talking to Alice before stepping out of the Cullen house and moving slyly through the woods - towards him, no doubt seeking him out. He couldn't help but smile even after it drifted.

For once, he wasn't sure what was going to happen. But just this one time, he didn't mind. He stopped when he saw her, and crouched down quietly, not in a form to attack, but to admire her. She truly was beautiful. Not wanting to scare her, he stood slowly and put himself in view.

"My, you're more beautiful in person than in my mind," he called out, his voice rolling out in a thick Russian accent.

Looking for the Vampire Empty
PostSubject: Re: Looking for the Vampire   Looking for the Vampire EmptyTue Feb 16, 2010 11:44 pm

Eva came to a sudden halt. Before she even looked at this new vampire, who had somehow seen her first, his voice sent shivers up her spine, and her lips were slightly parted as she looked up to see him.
He was handsomer than she'd expected him to be, probably even handsomer than any vampire she'd ever seen, and her eyes widened momentarily as she took in his tall muscled frame, his dark hair, his olive skin, and his perfect and strong features.
Oh, f*ck meshe thought, a heat replacing the shiver that had come over her.
"Are you the Roman that Alice said was coming?" she asked, her slightly accented voice somehow coming out normally.

Roman chuckled and slowly walked over to her, making sure to keep his distance, not wanting to scare her. "Yes, my name is Roman. You are the lovely Eva." He extended his hand, standing at arm's length to her, offering it to her. "I take it you've been expecting me."

"I wasn't expecting you so soon," Eva said, reaching out to shake his hand. Their fingers brushed, and he gripped her hand.
He's strong, she thought, and her spine started tingling again.
"I think that Alice might have been though," she said, remembering how the smaller vampire had gone into a vision before sending her downstairs. The thought made her smile a little.

"I didn't expect you to be so beautiful," he smiled, lifting her hand to kiss the top of it, careful not to grip her too tightly. He chuckled softly once more and nodded, "Yes. There is not much that little pixie doesn't know," he mused.

He looked around, expecting one of the Cullens to be with her, but there was no sign of them. "You've come by yourself?" he asked curiously.

"Thanks for the compliment. I didn't expect you to be so handsome either," Eva said, smiling at him with more confidence. He still made her feel weak-kneed and tingly, but she really couldn't complain about that when he liked her. Then she heard his second question, and she shook her head.
"They were all busy," she explained. "Jasper actually found out that his sister's been reincarnated in the form of a panther shape-shifter, and then she was attacked by a vampire and had to be saved and turned by Carlisle. Then she hooked up with a werewolf, and Jasper decided that he needed to give her a talk." After a pause, she added with a small smile, "It's been a pretty eventful set of days actually."

He smiled and shook his head. "No need for thanks. I only say what I see." He couldn't help but admire her. She was incredibly beautiful, more so than he had expected, and already he was taken with her. He wanted to know everything about her, and he was sure they'd have plenty of time to get to know each other.

As Eva explained what all had been happening in the Cullen household, he was shocked. "Wow, it sounds like you've all been very busy," he chuckled. "Werewolves and panthers, huh?" He slowly lowered their hands, not releasing it. "Shall we head back to the house?" he smiled.

Eva might have liked to stay out here with him a little longer, but then she wouldn't feel right keeping him away from his friends, and she knew that she could get to know him just as well in the house as out here.
"We shall," she said, smiling to herself when she realized that Roman didn't intend to let go of her hand. She squeezed his hand lightly and started to move back toward the house.
She liked him already, and he didn't seem to mind her at all, and she couldn't wait to see what happened between her and him.

They didn't get very far at all before Eva smelled another vampire running through the woods top speed. Alice's and Jasper's scents weren't far behind either.
"Oh, fuck, what's happening now?" she muttered nervously. Without letting go of Roman, she ran off toward the scent, wanting to catch up with the Cullens before they got caught up in something bad.
